Activity Curriculum Proposed in Family Education For Developing the
Belonging and Social Adjustment for Elementary Students
The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of a suggested activity
curriculum in family education to develop the values of belonging and social
adjustment among Elementary students. The current research has adopted two
types of research methods: analytical descriptive approach, Semi-experimental
curriculum, through two groups, one of which was an officer and consisted of
(28) male and female students, The curriculum consisted of (33) male and
female students. The research tools included: (Attitudes test for the values of
belonging and a measure of the values of social adjustment). Wade educational
research on the (proposed curriculum activity in family education, guide for the
teacher and student activity booklet. The results showed that there were
statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) In the tribal and postapplication
of the measure of social compatibility in favor of the postapplication.
The results also revealed a positive correlation between the values
of belonging and social adjustment after teaching the proposed activity
curriculum for the fourth grade Elementary students. The study recommended
the need to focus on the development of values of belonging and social
adjustment in the decisions of education in the form of educational activities,
which helps to improve the awareness of the individual and the community, as
well as to guide the teaching of family education towards the process of
developing the positive values and attitudes of students.
