The impact of using the Web Quest in teaching science in developing problem
solving skills and retain knowledge among fifth graders in Jordan

This study aimed at identifying The impact of using the Web Quest in teaching
science in developing problem solving skills and retain knowledge among fifth graders
in Jordan, the study used the Semi-experimental method, and the test was used as a
study tool, a random sample of (59) students of Jerash Governorate was selected.
The study findings showed that there are statistically significant differences
between the performances of the students of the two groups on the problem solving
skills test in favor of the students of the experimental group who were taught using the
Web Quest method. And the study findings showed that there are statistically
significant differences between the performances of the students of the two groups on
the retention test in favor of the students of the experimental group who were taught
using the Web Quest method.
