Teaching Competencies of Arabic Female Teachers at the Primary Stage in Kuwait
The current study aims at identifying the extent of teaching competencies owned by Arabic female teachers at the primary stage in Kuwait, and the effect of the variables of experience and educational region on this. Thus, this study adopts the analytical descriptive approach. The sample of this study consists of (137) Arabic female teachers who were chosen randomly. Data were collected through a questionnaire that includes (71) statements divided into seven themes. The results of the study display that the degree of practicing all teaching competencies, by Arabic female teachers, was high in accordance with the following competencies (competencies of objectives and planning- competencies of class management and lessons design- listening skills competencies- speaking skills competencies- reading skills competencies- writing skills competencies- objectives evaluation and planning competencies and evaluation competencies). Also, the results show that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) regarding the extent of teaching competencies owned by Arabic female teachers at the primary stage in Kuwait and that may result from the variables of experiences and educational region.
