المستخلص

The current study aimed at developing the basic reading skills that suits
the students of the basic education stage ( the third primary stage) through a
suggested strategy based on vocal awareness; to achieve this aim the
researcher prepared the tools of the study represented in the list of basic
reading skills for the third primary stage students; then clarified the steps and
procedures of the suggested strategies ; afterwards came the preparation of
a teacher’s guide.
After applying the strategy and tools of the study ; the efficiency of the
suggested strategy based on vocal awareness was reached to develop the
reading skills of the third primary stage students.
