Summary of the study: The study aimed to identify the relationshipbetween social intelligence and life satisfaction among the studentsof King Saud University and the study sample consisted of 240students ( 128 male students , and 112 female students) ( 86students from disciplines humanity , and 88 students from thescientific disciplines ) and ( 66 students from the preparatory year ,and 174 students from the seventh level ) applied to them ameasure of social intelligence prepared by Abu Hashim (2008) andthe measure of life satisfaction for Dessouki (1999) was the use ofthe following statistical methods : Pearson correlation coefficient(Pearson Correlation) to verify the relationship between thevariables of the study , Cronbach's alpha coefficient (Cronbach'sAlpha) to check the consistency of standards , test " T " (T test) tosee the significance of differences between two independent groups. The hypothesis of the study are as follows: there is significantrelationship between social intelligence and life satisfaction amongthe students of King Saud University , there are statisticallysignificant differences among the students of King Saud Universityin each of the social intelligence and life satisfaction depending onStudy level (preparatory year , seventh level) , there are statisticallysignificant differences among the students of King Saud Universityin each of the social intelligence and life satisfaction depending onthe type ( male, female ) , there are statistically significantdifferences among the students of King Saud University in each ofthe social intelligence and life satisfaction according to differentspecialization ( majors scientific , humanitarian disciplines). theresult of the study are as follows : There is a positive correlationstatistically significant between social intelligence and lifesatisfaction , there are no statistically significant differencesbetween social intelligence and life satisfaction by type ( Male,Female),there are statistically significant differences for intelligentsocial by Study level between students of the preparatory year ,students at the seventh for the benefit of students of the level of theseventh while there are no statistically significant differences to thesatisfaction of life by Study level ( preparatory year , the level of theseventh ) there are no statistically significant differences betweensocial intelligence and life satisfaction by specialization (scientificdisciplines , specialties humanitarian ).
