The current research aimed at: Building A model ofEducational /Learning Proposal in the light of Educational Theoriesand its Effectiveness in Developing Solving Problems in Mathematics forPreparatory Stage Students in Palestine. The experimental researchgroup consisted of a number (30) students from the preparatory stage ofthe Ahmed Abdul Aziz Preparatory School in Palestine in the firstsemester of the academic year 2015/2016.The current research results showed the existence of a statisticallysignificant difference at level (0.01) between the mean scores obtainedby participants in the two applications of the pre-post test SolvingProblems skills whole as and in each of its skills separately in favor ofthe post application and is calculate according ETA square Impact sizeas (0.924), and its effectiveness Black according to equation is (1.24).In light of these findings, the current research recommends the inclusionof an article in the content of mathematics in the light of the theories ofeducation for middle school students, and the vaccination of mathcourses with mathematical problems that promote the development ofproblem solving in students and also the development of different typesof thinking.
Pathological Narcissism Level and Its Relation to Inferiority Feelings andSelf-Esteem among Umm Al-Qura University StudentsThe current study aimed to identify the levels of pathological narcissism,self-esteem, and inferiority feelings among students at Umm Al-Qura Universityand to examin the interrelationships between these variables. The study sampleconsisted of (256) male and female students from different faculties, educationallevels, and academic performance. To achieve the study goals; the researcherused three scales: pathological narcissism scale (Jodeh, 2012), Rosenberg selfesteem scale for adults, and the Arabic translated version of inferiority feelingsscale and she tested validities and reliabilities of these scales. The resultsshowed that; there were low levels of pathological narcissism and inferiorityfeelings and high level of pathological narcissism and self-esteem. There weresignificant correlations between study variables. The correlation coefficientbetween pathological narcissism and self-esteem was negative (r = -0.32, p <0.01), in the other hand, pathological narcissism and inferiority feelings waspositive (r = 0.58, p < 0.01), and finally, self-esteem and inferiority feelings wasnegative (r = -0.63, p < 0.01). The results indicated that; males report beingmore pathological narcissistic and less inferiority feelings than females. Genderdid not affect self-steem and variables of faculties, educational levels, andacademic performance did not affect all the dependent variables. In light of theresults the researcher presented some recommendations.
The research aims to develop the critical reading skills and theintellectual security concepts included in the Arabic reading for the first gradepreparatory pupils. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher prepared aquestionnaire of critical reading skills, critical reading skills test, a scale ofawareness of concepts of intellectual security and strategy based on learningstyles.The researcher chose a sample of ( 66) pupils from the Menia Al-HittGirls School, Hamed masoud school in Fayoum Governorate. ( 34) pupils forthe experimental group, and (32) pupils for the control group.The findings of the research revealed a statistically – significantdifference at the level of ( 0.01 )between means of score of the experimentaland control group in the critical reading post- test and the scale of awarenessof intellectual security concepts in favor of the experimental group.The researcher recommends to develop the intellectual securityconcepts included in Arabic language curricula at all levels of education, as wellas interest in the development of critical reading skills, because it makes thepupil able to discriminate and criticise.
The current study aimed at developing the basic reading skills that suitsthe students of the basic education stage ( the third primary stage) through asuggested strategy based on vocal awareness; to achieve this aim theresearcher prepared the tools of the study represented in the list of basicreading skills for the third primary stage students; then clarified the steps andprocedures of the suggested strategies ; afterwards came the preparation ofa teacher’s guide.After applying the strategy and tools of the study ; the efficiency of thesuggested strategy based on vocal awareness was reached to develop thereading skills of the third primary stage students.
Tourism in developing countries is seen as an important means ofrapid investment, especially as there is a significant shift in tourism routestowards developing countries that have competed with developed countries intourist attractions.The Sultanate of Oman is characterized by a variety of tourist attractions,making it ranked first in the Arabian Gulf, where the natural components ofDhofar province play a large role in the development of tourism through theexploitation of these elements and configured as a tourist product that attractslarge numbers of tourists to promote and recreation and exercise hobbies andenjoy the unique climate for the province, which affects the tourismdevelopment of different types of tourism activities throughout the year, wherethe Omani Ministry of Tourism is engaged in organizing entertainment eventsthroughout the year for the tourists and pilot the internal tourism movement.Based on the field data and the study of the various factors affectingtourism in the Sultanate of Oman - Dhofar Governorate model, analysis of itsimpact on the Omani product and how to market it locally, nationally andinternationally.
